Posted on October 22, 2020

Trick or treat! The spookiest season is here, and we’re pulling out all the stops to get you in the spirit of Halloween. Get your instrument – and your costumes – ready!

Halloween Collection

We’ve put together some of the creepiest, spookiest songs in our new Halloween Collection. This collection spans genres, from Billie Eilish’s synthy “Bad Guy” to the traditional song “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg. “Heathens” from the film Suicide Squad’s soundtrack makes an appearance, a nod to one of the most popular Halloween costumes of 2016, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.

This collection will be out October 23, giving you a week to get your practice in before your Halloween festivities!

Weekly Challenge

Next week, be on the lookout for a terrifying challenge – The Return of the Pumpkins! But these aren’t just your regular jack-o-lanterns. Shred your way through “The Rise of the Pumpkins” and spook your way through the synth-filled “Il Folletto.”

Learn Some Classic Horror Sounds

Have you ever wondered how those terrifying sounds from horror films are made? Check out our latest YouTube video where we’ll show you how to create some classic, fear-inducing sounds from movies like “The Grudge” with your guitar!

We used those creepy sounds as the soundtrack for a special short horror film.
